I will go ahead and answer that question first because, well I asked it.

Squaresville to me is an idea, its a concept.

It explores different situations, themes, or people that you might have come across throughout your life. Because you see, I don’t see Squaresville as one show/idea. Squaresville to me is a collection of a chunk of different things put together. This is demonstrated by how each episode, while covering the similar overarching setting, tries to find something different to talk about and bring up to its audience.

That is what makes it so special.

I can relate to Squaresville despite being located halfway across the world. I can interact with both the community and the people that create it in a much more engaging way than any other show I’ve gotten into before.

I want Squaresville to grow into something a lot bigger than what it is. Because lets face it, its that good.

So once I talked with Mary Kate over twitter and there was this discussion about how she would have liked Zelda to have the last name Greenleaf (obvious LOTR influence) if it wasn’t already determined by Mr.Enlow . Since I was recently getting back to drawing some manga-esque stuff (I aint so good yet, hehe) I thought of drawing characters from Squaresville in a fantasy themed spin-off of sorts. This is the first sketch I did, and I present you with Zelda Greenleaf. Oh and sorry I butchered your hands mk.
